A wise man once said, “After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world”. It’s the stories that gives wings to our imagination. So to build confidence, enhance speaking skills and stimulate one’s imagination, a storytelling competition was organised for Std. 1 & 2

Many students participated in this competition where students narrated the moral based stories using variety of props making their stories interesting and expressive. Stories such as “The value of zero”, “The importance of computer”, “The value of girl child”, “Three fishes”, “A clever student”, “Self-help is the best help” etc. chosen by students showed that the moral values such as compassion, respect, integrity and responsibility taught to them in classes were well inculcated in them which will teach them how to be a good and considerate person too!
